RESCUE virtual reality
Training that’s closer to reality than ever before
Immersive virtual reality training for firefighters that allows you to safely practice the most dangerous situations without any real risk. The aim of the project was to create an environment where rescuers can train decision-making under pressure, navigate extreme conditions and save lives – realistically, repeatably and effectively.
The game is designed for VR headsets and is technically developed in the Unreal Engine, allowing for a high level of visual realism, dynamic lighting, realistic fire, smoke and environmental behaviour, as well as support for advanced simulations such as thermal vision.
What VR training makes possible:
-
Simulation of firefighting both indoors and outdoors
-
rescue of people in buildings with reduced visibility
-
orientation in hazardous and opaque areas
-
training to work under time and psychological pressure
-
repetition of critical scenarios without endangering health
Virtual reality provides firefighters with the opportunity to learn from mistakes without consequences, increase team readiness and improve response times in situations where seconds are crucial.
This project demonstrates how linking technology, design and game engine can create a tool with a real impact on safety and saving lives.
